I am scheduled to run the Mackinaw Memorial Bridge Race tomorrow (chronicled in this post). This is my third year running it, and I'm afraid that this year may be a bit disappointing. The whole mystic involved with this race is that you actually run across the Mackinaw Bridge, something that is not normally allowed. But this year, due to road construction, we won't be running on the bridge at all. Although I think running in downtown Mackinaw and along the lake shore will likely be beautiful, I'm a bit disappointed.

That totally sucks about your race! I'd be super bummed b/c I want to run that one for the experience of going over the bridge. You'll do great though, so have fun!
